Academic Operations Technology Workgroup

Goals

• Provide a forum to share technology uses in academic advising, academic support (e.g., tutoring), coaching, and similar areas.
• Norm terminology and usage, where appropriate, while allowing units the autonomy to customize their business operation.
• Prioritize technology development requests to UFIT for more effective advocation of needs.
• Document tools development for new user training.

Membership & Format

• As a representative workgroup, members can expect to socialize workgroup ideas with their unit leadership and users
• Units select membership as they deem participation necessary
• In-person meetings preferred
• Monthly commitment

Feedback

The workgroup will regularly solicit feedback and report progress to the Student Success Collaborative and the Advisory Council for Undergraduate Affairs.
