Freshmen Preview: Guide to Academics

Welcome, New Gators!

We are eager to introduce you to your new academic home within the University of Florida! Our orientation program, known as Preview, will do just that. During Preview, incoming students and their families have the opportunity to learn about university resources, get acquainted with campus, connect with peers, and register for classes with guidance from an advisor.

Student Success is here to guide you through your initial steps as a Gator. Even before attending Preview, there are ways to set yourself up for academic success. You may also have questions after attending Preview, after classes have started, or even at the end of your first semester. Check out the guides below for information and recommendations for each of those stages.

This guide contains all things pre-Preview, and it features advice from Preview Advisors!
