APPLY YOUR AMBITION
The Office of Prestigious Awards promotes scholarship and fellowship programs that fund undergraduate or graduate study in the U.S. and abroad and supports students through the application process. We advise students to start the application process early, allow significant time for revisions, and collect letters of recommendation. Several awards have a campus endorsement process with campus deadlines that fall before the national deadlines.
Unless otherwise noted, The Office of Prestigious Awards is the contact for all students interested in applying for these awards.
Participants in the prestigious award application process will:
- Clarify their personal goals and future career plans.
- Reflect upon and articulate their knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Improve or strengthen their relationships with faculty mentors.
- Improve their writing skills.
- Communicate a personal, professional, and/or academic future vision for themselves.
